Jazz Republic Praha: Jazz and Blues Club

Tuesday 21st AprilOpen 22:00
Live Show 22:15–23:45

JAZZ UNION (Live)*Free Entry Concept

Not all of us rush home before midnight, so for those of you night animals we play from 10:15pm every Tuesday.

Acoustic music is back at the Jazz Republic! Regular concerts with a smoother and more intimate atmosphere are designed for admirers of guitar music and classical jazz repertoires. This time we have prepared an event with truly extraordinary jazz musicians. Tonight's leader is a respected Czech jazz guitarist Jaroslav Šindler. On the jazz scene he is known to be a sensitive and appreciative musical partner with a precise and unmistakeable tune to his legendary Gibson L5, played also by Eric Clapton in the 70s. Have a pleasant musical experience.

What is it? Music for everyone! We support people to discover jazz and blues music. Jazz Republic is an open and welcoming music club, the only one in Prague with free entry for all visitors during the week. Please note that an age limit for this club is 18 years and older.

Dear fans of the Jazz Republic music club in Prague, On 13 March, we were forced to close our jazz club to all visitors due to the worldwide Covid-19 pandemic, losing our source of income overnight. In these difficult times, we are kindly asking for your help by both contributing to and spreading the word about this fundraiser. Every donation, regardless of amount, will make a difference!

You can find our fundraiser on GoFundMe: https://www.gofundme.com/f/JazzRepublic

We are raising funds for: - Our bar staff salaries - Our musicians salaries - Rent and security costs We hope that with your help, we will reopen the Jazz Republic next season and add on to the 8,000 great jazz and blues performances done so far! We thank you in advance for every contribution. We are looking forward to seeing you in better times - so whenever you are in Prague next time, don't forget to visit us. Please take care of yourselves and your loved ones, stay safe and healthy.
